The third annual Kids Arts Festival of Tennessee will take place at Pinkerton Park on June 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“It’s a great event for the kids to get out there and show off their artwork to the community,” said Dylan Wright, program specialist for City of Franklin Parks.
The free festival will allow children to showcase all of kinds of talent in creative arts. There will be an art exhibit with paintings and drawings from the children on display. For the children who love to dance, sing or write poetry, there will be a performance section. The hand-crafted art sale is another highlight of the festival.
“If the kids have art work they’d like to sell, they could do that as well. We have a special section for that, too,” said Wright.
The Kids Arts Festival of Tennessee is a “rain or shine” event, and will only be canceled in the event of a severe thunderstorm. Several food trucks will be providing food at the festival including “Buns On The Run,” and “El Oasis.”
